The Truth About Canned Soup: You've Been Poisoning Yourself for Years

Are you aware what’s in your Campbell canned soup? How about bioengineered,  toxic, harmful and hormone disrupting ingredients ? Their soups are loaded with MSG, additives, and many questionable ingredients. They might even still use cans with bisphenol-A (BPA) in the lining.

Did you know…

Most of Campbell’s products are full of ingredients derived from GMOs. Soybeans, sugar beets, canola and corn, the largest genetically engineered crops, are main ingredients in most Campbell soups and sauces.

Main Reasons to Avoid Campbell Canned Soups

MSG

MSG is a widely used food additives that is used to intensify flavor. MSG is often labeled as Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Hydrolyzed Plant Protein, Vegetable Protein Extract, Yeast Extract, Glutamate, Glutamic Acid, Sodium Caseinate, Textured Protein, Soy Protein Isolates, Barley Malt, Calcium Caseinate and Malt Extract.

Animal studies have confirmed that MSG is extremely toxic to the brain, causing migraines because it dilates blood vessels and impacts nerve cells in the brain.

Reuters reports:

“In the latest research … [scientists] followed more than 10,000 adults in China for about 5.5 years on average. The researchers measured MSG intake directly by before-and-after weighing of products, such as bottles of soy sauce, to see how much people ate … Men and women who ate the most MSG (a median of 5 grams a day) were about 30 percent more likely to become overweight by the end of the study”.

MSG can lead to various neurological issues such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke,  and brain infections.

 

Seed Oils (Canola or/soybean)

Vegetables  Seed Oils are highly inflammatory. These are highly processed oils that contains chemical residues, trans fats, and oxidized byproducts. Vegetable seed oils are very high in PUFA (polyunsaturated fats). The entire composition of our bodies is around 97% saturated and monounsaturated fat. As we know our bodies need the right type of fat in order to renew and rebuild our cells.

Aluminum

Aluminum is very toxic to our health  – even in small amounts. Those aluminum cans  can leech aluminum into your soup especially if heated just a little bit.  Aluminum does accumulate in the body causing dementia, autism, and Parkinson’s disease. Aluminum can harm \ your central nervous system.  Recent research confirms a strong link between aluminum and breast cancer.  A study published in the Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry in July 2013 found that breast cancer patients had much higher levels of aluminum in their nipple aspirate fluids when compared to a control group of healthy women.

BPA

BPA is an industrial chemical that has been used to make various plastics and resins since the 1960s. BPA (Bisphenol A) mimics estrogen in our bodies, binding to the same receptors as natural female hormones which might be damaging.  Recent studies have linked BPA exposure to cancer, obesity, infertility and diabetes.
